Applications
Light to moderate spring load. Very effective in critical applications when firction is an important factor. Can be used where cleanliness and non-contamination are necessary. Capable of handling increased dynamic run-out and gland tolerances. The cantilever seal design is very accurate in controlling spring load and placement. The 400 series seal has reduced friction and is capable of sealing at high and low pressure ranges.
Hardware
The 400 series assembly is designed for standard O-Ring grooves, Military grooves per MIL-G-551 4F and Insudtrail fractional grooves. If your current hardware is not standard, then contact us to speak to an EPM Seal Specialist for custom part and recommendations.
